Welcome to the Office of the City Clerk’s homepage.

The Office of the City Clerk is located at Honolulu Hale in Downtown Honolulu.  The City Clerk oversees support services provided to the City Council and all elections held in the City and County of Honolulu.

  • The Council Assistance Division is responsible for technical and clerical support for City Council and Committee meetings; and manages, disseminates and maintains the legislative and public records of the City Council.
  • The Elections and Voter Registration Division performs voter registration functions and is responsible for conducting all elections held in the City and County of Honolulu.
